Curriculum and Course Content

The curriculum is designed to maintain a balance between biblical depth and immediate practical application. The core subjects include:

  • Biblical and theological foundations of missiology
  • Mission throughout biblical history
  • Church and Mission History I: Post-Apostolic Period (2nd–5th centuries)
  • Church and Mission History II: 19th–20th centuries – Fathers of Modern Missions
  • Foundations for mission work in the contemporary context
  • Unreached peoples in today’s world
  • Unreached peoples and the role of the local church
  • The local church as a divine instrument for global evangelization
  • Missions as an initiative of the national church
  • Formation and functioning of mission mobilization teams
  • Selection and preparation of missionary candidates
  • The process of sending and sustaining missionaries
  • Supervision, pastoral care, and support of missionaries
  • English for missionaries and pastoral oversight in the mission field
  • Intercession and spiritual warfare in missionary work

These subjects constitute the mandatory core curriculum of the school, complemented by daily Bible study, practical training, and a field mission trip. The program is conducted under the direction of designated on-site and virtual instructors.

Additional Reading and Presentation Requirement

On the first day of classes, each student is required to select a book from the Zera Metán Mission library. This book will serve as the basis for a written summary and an oral presentation to the group. This activity forms an integral part of the Personal Formation and Discipleship module and aims to foster disciplined reading, critical analysis, and the exchange of knowledge among participants.

Each day includes:

  • Personal and group devotions
  • Theoretical classes (morning)
  • Workshops and practical ministry (afternoon)
  • Evening worship and prayer
